Welcome to BSNS 3400

This blog will be used to hold information relevant to the eBusiness course (Semester 1, 2006-2007). Links will be given to the syllabus, as well as to articles and other information relevant to the course. We will be using two books for this course: the first is Management Information Systems: Managing Information in the Business Enterprise by O'Brien (7th Edition). This can be found in the bookstore as well as a number of places online (the link on Amazon is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/007293588X/). It is a rather expensive book and the same edition was used last year, so you might shop around to see if you can save a few dollars on a used copy.

The second book to be used is Business @ The Speed of Thought: Succeeding in the Digital Economy by Bill Gates. This is an older book (published in 1999), but a must-read for this profession (and an inexpensive entry as well). It, too, can be found through numerous sources and the Amazon link is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0446675962/.
